For me, wedding photography begins with candid storytelling — the unscripted glances, the laughter, the quiet breath before a first look. After twenty years behind the camera, photographing a wide range of weddings across many different styles and settings, I still feel genuine excitement for every couple and every story I get to document. Those honest, in-between moments are what make each day unrepeatable, and capturing them is the part I love most.
My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive on the day, yet always thoroughly professional behind the lens. I work almost entirely in natural light, so your images feel luminous and true to the moment — your story told the way it actually felt, without forced poses or heavy retouching.

Made in natural light
I prefer natural light and invest in premium professional lenses. They render every frame beautifully sharp straight out of camera — no heavy digital sharpening needed — and let me keep shooting as the light softens, capturing more of your day exactly as it looked.
Couples in the landscape
I love getting creative with portraits. I'll work with you to scout locations ahead of time, then place the two of you within the landscape itself — set small against sweeping scenery and dramatic backdrops — for images that feel cinematic and deeply personal. It's a chance to step away together and create photographs you'll treasure for years.
